2010 Herd Competition
Judging for the 2010 Herd Competition took place on 3rd, 4th & 5th August. The judge for the competition was Mr Graham Hall from Atherstone, Warwickshire. There were 11 entries overall and the results were announced at the Autumn Social Event on 16th October.
LARGE HERD
1st Linford Herd (Mr & Mrs Bowles)
2nd Moonshine Herd (Mr & Mrs Bancroft)
3rd Gallipot Herd (Mr & Mrs & Adam Lancaster)
SMALL HERD
1st Delrose Herd (Mr G. Taylor)
2nd Waterloo Herd (The Wheeler Family)
3rd Melgrove Herd (Mr S. Norgrove)
STAYTHORP TROPHY
For the male or female born on or after 1st August 2009.
Biddlesden Paddy (The Lewis Family)
FRITH TROPHY
For the Senior Cow (the oldest in the herd, assessed on condition, confirmation, age and progeny).
Moonshine Topaz (Mr & Mrs Bancroft)
